Ordnung und Sinn adresses why we recognise, seek and rely on order, and how design responds to that need. Research from psychology, neuroscience and design theory shaped one visual system across a publication, a website and an interactive installation. The aim was to develop an approach to design that is both efficient and inclusive. At its core: a simple square, lots of relationships, and the idea that order is never really still.
